Dear Friend,
Here's what you've been looking for - an exciting way to reach new audiences in our region. The Williamsport Guardian is a bimonthly newspaper that encourages dialogue about important local, national, and international issues. The Guardian strives to include articles voicing viewpoints not already expressed in existing Williamsport media. An advertisement in the Guardian is not only a good way to reach younger and more diverse audiences. It's also a great way to help new voices find expression in our community. We have a low ad ration so that your message is sure to stand out. We distribute 10,000 free copies of The Williamsport Guardian ten times yearly. The paper is available free in restaurants, stores, colleges and other venues in Williamsport and other communities in twelve counties in north-central PA. We hope you'll consider placing an advertisement in The Williamsport Guardian, a publication that promotes different perspectives and a positive outlook on our region and reaches thousands of households in the region. ADVERTISING POLICIES
1. Advertising rates are subject to change. Prepaid ads will remain unchanged in price until expiration of advertising agreement.
2. The deadline for contract, ad artwork or copy and payment is the 10th of the month prior to publication.
3. The Williamsport Guardian reserves the right to refuse advertisements it deems offensive or inappropriate.
4. Advertisements that simulate news must contain the word “Advertisement”
5. The Williamsport Guardian will not be held responsible for any typographical errors that do not alter an advertisement’s message, or for changes made within the advertising space that do not alter the ad’s message and/or general appearance. For errors that detract from the message and intended appearance of the advertisement, The Williamsport Guardian will refund the cost of the advertisement for one issue and reprint the ad in the following issue at no charge.
6. The advertiser will hold The Williamsport Guardian harmless for any loss, injury, liability or right of said violations that may result from the printing of said advertisement.
7. The advertisers are solely responsible for the integrity, truthfulness and fulfillment of promise in their advertisement.
8. The Williamsport Guardian cannot guarantee a specific section or page for advertisements. Preferences of ad locations will be accommodated to the best of The Williamsport Guardian’s ability.
